By its very nature it is ordered to the good of the couple, as well as to the generation and education of children. Couples engaged to be married and who wish to be married at Holy Spirit are asked to contact the parish priest at least four months prior to their desired wedding date. The couple and the priest will then meet to begin the marriage preparation program. (735-8558).
Holy Spirit Wedding Hostess
The wedding hostess acts as the wedding coordinator. The hostess runs the rehearsals; she helps direct the bridal party as they set up the church on the wedding day; works with the photographer; ensures that ushers are seating people in a timely manner; and helps the bridal party put the church back to its pre-wedding state after the wedding.
